Position Overview:

The Canvass Manager will oversee all aspects of our canvassing operations, including recruiting, training, and managing a team of canvassers. This role is critical to ensuring the success of our outreach campaigns and will require strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage a team of canvassers to effectively communicate our message and achieve campaign goals.
  • Campaign Strategy: Develop and implement canvassing strategies and tactics to maximize outreach and engagement.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track and analyze canvassing metrics to ensure targets are met and identify areas for improvement.
  • Quality Control: Ensure all canvassers adhere to company guidelines and maintain high standards of professionalism and accuracy in their interactions.
  • Training & Development: Conduct regular training sessions to keep the team informed about campaign updates, best practices, and effective canvassing techniques.
  • Logistics Management: Coordinate canvassing schedules, routes, and materials to optimize efficiency and coverage.
  • Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports on canvassing activities, results, and key performance indicators to senior management.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to align canvassing efforts with overall campaign objectives.
  • Problem-Solving: Address and resolve any issues or challenges that arise during canvassing activities promptly and effectively.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in canvassing, field organizing, or a related role, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or managerial position.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field is preferred.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to motivate and manage a diverse team. Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Technology: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with canvassing software/tools.
  • Attributes: Highly motivated, results-oriented, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
