POSITION SUMMARY:

The Superintendent assures that all projects assigned by our client meet customer specifications, manufacturer specifications, and building codes and achieve superior quality and reliability levels. The Superintendent also ensures all safety procedures are followed. The Director of Commercial Roofing Operations may assign additional tasks needed for Company Operations; however, the Superintendent will primarily receive direction from the Project Manager. This position will require travel to various locations where the Company may be performing work.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Core duties and responsibilities include the following, other duties may be assigned.

● Notes and communicates to Project Manager any issues that may impair quality or safety

● Coordinate all construction services and activities

● Maintain strict build-out construction schedule and make changes as necessary to ensure deadlines are met

● Work directly with Sales/PMs to schedule jobs, as discussed with property owners, sales reps, and or Managers

● Run day-to-day operations on the sift and control short-term schedule

● Commitment to completion of jobs on time and within budget

● Identify and resolve issues that may arise during the project, ensuring minimal disruption to timelines and budgets.

● Oversee the procurement and use of roofing materials, ensuring they are of high quality and properly stored.

● Maintain accurate project documentation, including daily reports, change orders

● Maintain a working relationship with all contractors to ensure proper work and equipment needs are met

● Must be able to terminate ongoing work with any subcontractors and enforce disciplinary actions to those who do not complete work up to company requirements

● Conduct regular inspections to ensure all work meets industry standards and company quality expectations.

● Enforce safety protocols and ensure all team members adhere to OSHA regulations and company safety policies.

● Contribute to team effort by performing duties within Production Department, as needed

● Supervise and assign workload to repair team members

● May be required to assist in resolving Customer Service-related issues

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manages Commercial and Residential Production and is responsible for the overall supervision of each project. Manages scheduling and assigning work orders to repair techs. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

● The Motor Vehicle Report is completed before a vehicle is assigned to the employee.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
