We are a rapidly growing company specializing in the purchase of surplus and excess metals from businesses across various industries. We’re seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our dynamic team and help us expand our network of suppliers. This is a phone-based sales role focused on identifying new opportunities and establishing long-term relationships with companies looking to sell their excess metal inventories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prospecting and Outreach: Use phone-based outreach to connect with businesses that may have surplus or excess metal inventory available for sale.
  • Lead Generation & Qualification: Research potential leads, qualify prospects, and introduce our purchasing services.
  • Relationship Building: Develop and maintain relationships with key decision-makers, ensuring repeat business and long-term partnerships.
  • Negotiation & Closing: Handle negotiations and close sales by offering competitive pricing and a seamless transaction experience.
  • Market Research: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to effectively position our services.
  • CRM Management: Track all sales activity and client communications in our CRM system to ensure timely follow-ups and accurate reporting.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven success in a business development, sales, or customer acquisition role (phone-based experience a plus).
  • Ability to build rapport quickly and communicate effectively with key decision-makers.
  • Strong negotiation skills and a customer-focused approach.
  • Self-motivated with a drive to exceed sales targets and earn commissions.
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid environment with both remote and occasional in-office work.
  • Familiarity with metals, recycling, or industrial sectors is a plus but not required.
