Position Overview:
As a Regional Sales Leader, you will be responsible for overseeing and guiding a team of sales representatives to exceed sales targets and foster a culture of excellence. You will play a pivotal role in hiring, training, and developing sales professionals, ensuring that they achieve top performance through effective coaching and mentorship. This role requires a driven, metrics-focused individual with strong leadership and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate, and manage a regional team of sales representatives to meet and exceed sales goals.
- Provide coaching and development, utilizing company training programs to drive high levels of sales performance.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and ensure all team members are hitting their targets.
- Conduct regular ride-alongs with sales reps, offering feedback and development opportunities.
- Ensure adherence to sales processes, scripts, and customer satisfaction standards.
- Participate in recruitment, selection, and onboarding of new sales representatives.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to refine sales strategies and improve overall sales effectiveness.
- Foster a competitive, high-energy team environment with a "work hard, play hard" mentality.
- Manage scheduling and territory planning to optimize sales coverage and minimize travel time.
- Maintain a deep understanding of the home improvement industry and our product offerings to ensure team expertise.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a sales leadership role, preferably in the home improvement, construction, or related industries.
- Track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets, with a strong ability to motivate and drive teams to success.
- Exceptional coaching and mentoring skills with the ability to develop both new and experienced sales professionals.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data and metrics to drive decision-making.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Willingness to travel within the region and conduct in-field support for sales teams.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred, but not required.
