Our client is a leading full-service mechanical contractor and serving all of Southern New Jersey. Family operated since inception, the company has provided a full range of refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, drain cleaning, and environmental services to commercial and industrial customers.

POSITION OVERVIEW:

This sales position drives the growth of Preventative Maintenance Contracts throughout the business lines, including HVAC, Refrigeration and Plumbing with a focus on finding new business prospects and new markets. You will be responsible for generating new business opportunities through researching and identifying potential clients. The goal is to increase the service department’s recurring revenue and nurturing long-term customer relationships while marketing our company’s brand in a way that is positive, honest, and professional.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Proactively source and follow up with new leads and referrals

Create and implement a detailed prospecting plan to include sales activities and KPIs

Analyze existing business to identify customers who would benefit from preventative maintenance services

Demonstrate a clear understanding of the company’s service and equipment offerings to instill confidence, loyalty, and trust in the customers

Communicate professionally to educate customers on the advantages of preventative maintenance services and contracts

Estimate, negotiate and present preventative maintenance contracts with customers, ensuring understanding of terms, pricing, and the value of the services offered using company estimating templates

Maintain regular communication with the customers to foster and retain relationships

Stay updated on industry trends and seek opportunities for growth and improvement

Provide reports to management regarding sales activities, customer interactions, updates on new and existing contracts, etc.

Collaborate with service department personnel to ensure timely and accurate execution, scheduling, conflict resolutions, and reporting/administration of service contracts

Maintain an organized workspace and properly file documents, updates, and product information

Work with management to meet company goals and deliverables

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/Experience:

Experience in B2B sales

Experience in cold calling and prospecting

HVACR/Plumbing/Mechanical Sales Experience

High School diploma or GED and two (2) years’ experience in mechanical sales or related field

Availability as needed for afterhours email and phone calls.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience using a CRM

Experience using Lead Generation software

Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Verbal & written communication skills

Attention to detail and organization

Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, & Outlook

Ability to work as a team player

Pay: $70,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
